Today's homily for the Second Sunday after Trinity came from Luke 14:15-24 and is titled
"Where IS Everyone?" How truly amazing that our Lord nails it regarding the excuses people make for missing out on the great banquet of His Gospel and Sacraments. It's also amazing how this reading is so well suited for this time of year, when so many of those invited to the Eucharistic banquet make so many excuses for why they just cannot attend (sports events aplenty, weekends away at the lake, sleeping in after traveling, etc.).
