The Morning Show will include such features as:
- Daily Prayer - praying with the Church & using the Church's prayers (Matins, Morning Prayer),
- Feeding the Faith - some early morning Catechism discussion,
- Daily Devotion - such as Higher Things Reflections,
- On This Day - a look at our Christian history each day,
- Around the LCMS - news and interviews on the work and happenings of our church body,
- and more.
- Heck, we might even be able to squeeze in some Open Lines now and again.
YEAH! Looking forward to listening in with this new format.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteDo you know if there is a podcast feed for the morning show? I heard about 10 minutes of the show live this morning while driving and wanted to listen to some of what I missed. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Brandon. The KFUO.org website does have archived programs, but I'm not sure how it will all work out now--the who, what, when, and how of posting those archives. Paul Clayton, the person retiring from the morning time slot, has also been the one doing the website.
ReplyDeleteYou might try contacting Gary Duncan (Director of Operation). I believe his contact info is on the website. And, hey, if requests for this kind of thing keep coming, perhaps it will happen fairly soon! :-)
Thanks for asking!
Where's Paul Clayton?
ReplyDeletePaul Clayton decided to retire back in March, in order to take care of his ailing mother, and that's what led to this new show.
